From: Matt Birkholz Date: Fri, 19 Dec 2014 23:53:42 +0000 (-0700) Subject: smp: Add configure option --enable-smp. X-Git-Url: https://birchwood-abbey.net/git?a=commitdiff_plain;h=b9a4a7b;p=mit-scheme.git smp: Add configure option --enable-smp. Arrange for multiple Scheme machines, "processors" (pthreads), to share the heap. Each gets its own stack and "local" heap areas. Gc-flips trace the stacks and evacuate the local heaps into the shared heap. The dump-band primitive now works like half a gc-flip, evacuating the local heaps and saving the shared heap to disk before the primitive gc daemons can start consing in a local heap again. --- diff --git a/src/microcode/boot.c b/src/microcode/boot.c index 0c00674d6..3fccf6dd9 100644 --- a/src/microcode/boot.c +++ b/src/microcode/boot.c @@ -116,9 +116,18 @@ main_name (int argc, const char ** argv) reload_saved_string_length = 0;
